Directions
The Inn is 2.3 miles North of the airport and ferry terminals. Turn left and head north when you leave the terminals. If you turn right you will go into town. We are about a half-mile past the stop light at the Wal-Mart turn off (Don King Rd.). Our buildings are gray with red trim. We are three houses before the car wash, on the waterside. If you pass the car wash you have gone too far. The Inn has plenty of free, off-street parking on site and additional parking for RV's, boats and boat trailers near by. If you do not have a car, we are on the city bus route and cabs are readily available. Call us for car rental, pick up and drop off information.
Regulations
Unless other arrangements are made, check in is 3:00 P.M. and check out is 11:00 A.M. Early arrivals may drop off their luggage after 8:00 A.M.
Late arrivals need to notify the Inn in advance. For safety reasons there are age restrictions on children. Please check in advance. Under certain conditions a pet may be accepted in the Bunkhouse cabin with a small fee and deposit. Please check in advance.

Individual Rooms with private baths in the Main House:

The Eagles Nest - A Private One Bedroom Apartment:

The apartment rents for $210 to $225 + tax for one to two. - There is a $15 to $25 charge for each additional guest.

The Bunkhouse - A Private Two Room Cabin:

The Cabin rents for $185 to $200 + tax for one or two .

The Black Bear Inn Main House Rental :
When all 4 bedrooms in the main house are rented, it can accommodate up to 10 guests. Call for rates. Book It

When the house and the apartment are rented together they can accommodate up to 14. Call for rates. A two-night minimum is required. Book It

Black Bear Inn Discounts
- Room Rates Discounted January through April and October through December.
- Extended Stay, Active Military and Senior (over 65) Discounts, except in July and August.
- Alaska Resident Discounts, except in July and August.
- Government Per Diem Rates all year.

Deposit and Refund Policies
A reservation deposit of the first nights charge or 50% of the total booking, if the stay is more than one night, is required when the reservation is made. Personal checks, Cashiers Checks, Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express payments are accepted.
Cancellations must be made 14 days in advance in order for deposit to be returned in the off-season and 60 days in advance May through September. When a cancellation is made after the required time, a credit is issued. It is good for 2 years and can be used by the original guest or any one they choose. In all cancellation cases, a $50 processing fee will be retained from the deposit.
