Directions

The Inn is 2.3 miles North of the airport and ferry terminals. Turn left and head north when you leave the terminals. If you turn right you will go into town. We are about a half-mile past the stop light at the Wal-Mart turn off (Don King Rd.). Our buildings are gray with red trim. We are three houses before the car wash, on the waterside. If you pass the car wash you have gone too far. The Inn has plenty of free, off-street parking on site and additional parking for RV’s, boats and boat trailers near by. If you do not have a car, we are on the city bus route and cabs are readily available. Call us for car rental information.

Regulations

Unless other arrangements are made, check in is 3:00 P.M. and check out is 11:00 A.M. Early arrivals may drop off their luggage after 8:00 A.M.
Late arrivals need to notify the Inn in advance.

For safety reasons there are age restrictions on children.
Please check in advance.
Under certain conditions a pet may be accepted for a small fee and deposit. Please check in advance.

Individual Rooms in the Main House:

Individual Room Rates in the main house start at $154 + tax for one or two.
There is a $50 charge for each additional guest.
One night stays are welcome.
July and August:
Individual Room Rates in the main house start at $164+ tax for one or two.
There is a $50 charge for each additional guest.

The Eagles Nest - The Private One Bedroom Apartment:
May, June and September:
$210 + tax for one to two and $50 for each additional guest
One night stays are welcome.
July and August:
$220 + tax for one to two and $50 for each additional guest

The Bunkhouse - The Private Cabin:
May, June and September:
$184 + tax for one to two and $50 for each additional guest

$194 + tax for one to two and $50 for each additional guest

The Black Bear Inn Main House Rental :
When all 4 bedrooms in the main house are rented, it can accommodate up to 10 guest. Call for rates. A two-night minimum is required.

Black Bear Inn Main House and Eagles Nest Rental:
When the house and the apartment are rented together they can accommodate up to13.
Call for rates. A two-night minimum is required.

Black Bear Inn Main House, Eagles Nest and Bunkhouse Rental:
When the house, the apartment and the cabin are rented together they can accommodate up to 16.

Black Bear Inn Discounts

Deposit and Refund Policies

A reservation deposit of the first nights charge or 50% of the total booking, if the stay is more than one night, is required when the reservation is made. Personal checks, Cashiers Checks, Cash, and Visa or MasterCard payments are accepted.
Cancellations must be made two weeks in advance in order for deposit to be returned. This requirement will be waved when the cancellation is due to an immediate Family emergency or uncontrollable circumstances due to weather or travel conditions. Proof may be required. In all cancellation cases, a $50 processing fee will be retained from the deposit.
